Good product, can be used without the cradle, can be used to charge without the sync chord.
But the cradle is worse than the factory cable. My LifeDrive will not properly seat in the cradle. So now it is a paperweight. I don't know how to make the LifeDrive heavier without risking more problems. It keeps popping loose and causing both the PC and the Palm to go crazy. I got this cradle because the cable that came with the LifeDrive only makes a loose connection at best.
Every time I touch the palm while it is in the cradle, I have to be very mindful because it ALWAYS tips over.This is not a huge deal just a slight pain in the rear.Other than that sole issue this is a very good product. This is a good product. The only thing that keeps it from being a great product is the cradle lacks the necessary ballast to support the TX.
But my payments will continue to come. Hopefully I will get it back before christmas.Maybe then I can share my review of this product. I received my package with great excitement, as my original pda had died on me, I opened the package with great care, I followed every word of the installation directions. I am still waiting to use my new pda as I had to send it to Palm Care to be repaired.
The light stays on all the time which means electricity is flowing. I don't know why this doesn't come standard with the new palm T/X. I recommend plugging into a power strip that you can easily turn off to save the greenhouse gas. This is a great reliable way to sync. my palm.
